Collagen Fibers
This video shows a preliminary simulation of a planar set of collagen fibers which are anchored to the outer ring of circles by soft springs. Each fiber is modeled as a series of elastic elements connected by revolute joints. All of the fibers are connected forming a net. The net is given an initial velocity which disturbs it from its anchors, after which it settles back to its original grid-like shape.
